Paya

Paya — Caribbean-inspired restaurant with teal wood bar and rattan pendants, Miami Beach, FL
Paya restaurant interior designed by Hybrid Creative, Miami Beach

Drawing inspiration from the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the islands of Spain, Patricia Duran brought Paya's island-inspired vision to life in just under three months. A tropical foyer with a sage stone table sets the tone. Inside, the coral-hued raw bar anchors the space, while the dining room layers textured brick, plant-lined banquettes, white oak, and green marble beneath gold wallpaper and woven rattan pendants. The centerpiece is a striking U-shaped teal wood bar with a sage marble top, seating 25. Floral accents, bright colors, and vintage mirrors create a laid-back yet elevated ambiance -- an island escape as fresh and vibrant as Paya's farm-to-table menu.
